Penerapan problem based learning (PBL) untuk meningkatkan higher order thinking skill (HOTS) mahasiswa melalui lesson study

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah meningkatkan Higher Order Thinking Skill (HOTS) pada mata kuliah sejarah matematika dengan menerapkan Problem Based Learning (PBL) melalui Lesson Study. Metode penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas menggunakan lesson study dengan 3 siklus dimana setiap siklus memiliki tahapan Plan-Do-See. Lesson Study dilakukan oleh Dosen Prodi Pendidikan Matematika FMIPA Universitas Hamzanwadi. Subjek penelitian ini adalah 23 mahasiswa semester 3. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, model Problem Based Learning (PBL) melalui Lesson Study dapat memberikan pemahaman yang lebih mendalam melalui kegiatan pemecahan masalah, dimana dalam kegiatan tersebut mahasiswa dilatih menganalisis, mengevaluasi, dan berkomunikasi sehingga hasil belajar bisa meningkat dalam hal ini Higher Order Thinking Skill (HOTS).
