Implementasi model discovery learning melalui kegiatan lesson study untuk meningkatkan kemampuan komunikasi matematik siswa

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan komunikasi matematika siswa setelah diterapkannya pembelajaran matematika menggunakan model Discovery Learning melalui lesson study pada siswa kelas VII MTs. Al-Majidiyah NW Majidi Tahun Pelajaran 2023/2024. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Sumber data pada penelitian ini diperoleh dengan menggunakan lembar observasi dan tes kemudian dianalisis secara kualitatif dan kuantitatif dengan subjek penelitian sebanyak 31 orang. Penelitian ini berlangsung selama dua siklus dan setiap siklus terdiri atas tiga tahap, yaitu tahapan plan (perencanaan), do (pelaksanaan) dan see (refleksi). Hasil dan analisis data menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran matematika menggunakan Discovery Learning melalui kegiatan lesson study memberikan peningkatan yang baik terhadap kemampuan komunikasi matematik siswa. Pada siklus I persentase ketuntasan belajar klasikal hasil belajar siswa sebesar 74,17% dengan rata-rata kelas 73,01. Pada siklus II persentase ketuntasan klasikal hasil belajar siswa sebesar 80,64% dengan rata-rata 77,45.
