Pengembangan instrumen pengukuran kemampuan higher order thinking skills (HOTS) matematika kelas X SMA

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan dan menghasilkan produk berupa instrumen pengukuran kemampuanan HOTS pada mata pelajaran matematika kelas X SMA yang memiliki kualitas butir soal yang baik ditinjau dari segi kevalidan, kepraktisan, reliabilitas, tingkat kesukaran, dan daya pembeda. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan dengan menggunakan model pengembangan Borg & Gall yang terdiri dari tujuh langkah pengembangan meliputi: (1) penelitian dan pengembangan; (2) perencanaan; (3) pengembangan produk awal; (4) uji coba produk awal; (5) revisi hasil uji coba; (6) uji coba produk utama; (7) revisi produk akhir. Namun langkah 5 dan 6 tidak bisa dilakukan karena covid 19. Pelaksanaan sebagian langkah tersebut mengakibatkan kualitas butir soal tidak sepenuhnya terpenuhi sehingga instrumen pengukuran kemampuan HOTS yang dikembangkan hanya memenuhi kriteria valid dan praktis. Hasil pengembangan menunjukkan bahwa instrumen pengukuran kemampuan HOTS yang terdiri dari 6 butir soal uraian memenuhi kriteria valid dan praktis. Kevalidan instrumen pengukuran kemampuan HOTS dapat dilihat dari analisis hasil lembar validasi dengan menggunakan formula Aiken’s V dengan rata-rata skor sebesar 0,76 yang menunjukkan validitas butir soal tinggi. Di samping itu, instrumen pengukuran kemampuan HOTS yang dikembangkan dinyatakan praktis berdasarkan hasil analisis angket respon guru dengan rata-rata skor sebesar 76,85% yang berada dalam kategori sangat praktis.
