Efektivitas problem based learning (PBL) untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa di SMK Negeri 2 Pandeglang

Dalam kurikulum merdeka seorang guru berkedudukan sebagai fasilitator dan membimbing siswa selama proses kegiatan belajar berlangsung, seharusnya seorang guru dapat memilih pendekatan atau model pembelajaran yang tepat agar proses pembelajaran dapat berjalan sesuai yang diharapkan serta dapat meningkatan berpikir kritis siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK) kelas XI Analisis Pengujian Laboratorium (APL) dalam pembelajaran Matematika Materi Statistik melalui penerapan model Problem-Based Learning (PBL). satu keunggulan dari model pembelajaran problem basedlearning yaitu mampu melatih siswa dalam menggunakan berbagai konsep, prinsip dan keterampilan yang telah mereka pelajari untuk memecahkan permasalahan yang sedang dihadapi. Dengan penerapan problem basedlearning, kemampuan berpikir kritis dapat berkembang, karena pada kemampuan berpikir kritis yang diamati dalam penelitian ini berupa kemampuan mengidentifikasi menganalisis, memecahkan masalah, berpikir logis, membuat keputusan dengan tepat, serta dapat menarik kesimpulan, dan tidak mudah tertipu. Metode penelitian yang dipilih yakni quasieksperiment dengan desain pretets-posttest. Data peningkatan berpikir kritis siswa dikumpulkan melalui instrumen tes soal essay. Data yang diperoleh kemudian di analisis menggunakan Uji T ( One Sample t Test ). Hasil analisis data dengan program spss Versi 22 menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh penerapan model pembelajaran problem basedlearning terhadap berpikir kritis peserta didik.
