Peningkatan kemampuan numerasi siswa melalui pendekatan kontekstual berbasis permainan edukatif

Kemampuan numerasi adalah kompetensi dasar yang penting bagi siswa untuk menghadapi tantangan kehidupan nyata. Namun, hasil survei menunjukkan bahwa tingkat numerasi siswa di Indonesia masih rendah, sebagian besar disebabkan oleh pendekatan pembelajaran yang kurang relevan dan menarik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan numerasi siswa melalui pendekatan kontekstual berbasis permainan edukatif. Pendekatan kontekstual menghubungkan materi dengan situasi nyata, sementara permainan edukatif menciptakan pengalaman belajar yang interaktif dan menyenangkan. Dalam kegiatan ini, berbagai permainan dirancang untuk melibatkan siswa secara aktif, seperti simulasi jual beli, teka-teki matematika, dan permainan digital. Hasil implementasi menunjukkan peningkatan motivasi belajar, pemahaman konsep numerasi, dan penerapan keterampilan dalam situasi nyata. Pendekatan ini juga meningkatkan rasa percaya diri siswa terhadap matematika. Dengan demikian, pendekatan ini efektif untuk meningkatkan kemampuan numerasi sekaligus memberikan pengalaman belajar bermakna.
