Tradisi Bau Ipun merupakan kearifan lokal masyarakat Desa Gondang, Kecamatan Gangga, Kabupaten Lombok Utara, yang diwujudkan melalui aktivitas menangkap ikan ipun bersama-sama di muara Kali Segara saat musim hujan barat. Artikel ini didasarkan pada kegiatan Kuliah Kerja Pengabdian (KKP) selama Juli hingga Agustus di Desa Gondang, dengan tujuan menggambarkan sejarah, proses pelaksanaan, serta nilai-nilai kearifan lokal dalam tradisi tersebut. Penelitian menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik observasi partisipatif, wawancara mendalam dengan tokoh masyarakat, dan studi pustaka. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tradisi Bau Ipun memuat nilai ekologis berupa pemanfaatan sumber daya air secara musiman dan tidak berlebihan, nilai sosial berupa gotong royong dan kebersamaan warga, serta nilai ekonomi dan budaya yang berpotensi menjadi daya tarik wisata desa. Tradisi ini menghadapi tantangan pelestarian akibat perubahan gaya hidup generasi muda dan kurangnya dokumentasi ilmiah, sehingga dibutuhkan revitalisasi melalui pendidikan, dokumentasi digital, dan pengembangan menjadi agenda wisata budaya tahunan. Kesimpulannya, Bau Ipun layak dipertahankan sebagai identitas budaya dan model konservasi berbasis masyarakat di pesisir utara Lombok.
