Analisis penurunan minat belajar matematika ditinjau dari self-efficacy dan expectancy-values

Penurunan minat belajar matematika menjadi permasalahan yang mempengaruhi capaian akademik siswa serta kesiapan mereka dalam menghadapi tantangan pendidikan lanjutan dan dunia kerja. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis faktor-faktor yang berkontribusi terhadap rendahnya minat belajar ditinjau dari Self-Efficacy dan Expectancy-Value. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kajian deskriptif kualitatif dengan analisis terhadap literatur serta data survei yang menunjukkan bahwa 70% siswa menganggap matematika sebagai mata pelajaran yang paling sulit, sementara 60% siswa mengaku kurang termotivasi akibat pembelajaran yang monoton dan tidak interaktif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa rendahnya self-efficacy menyebabkan siswa mudah menyerah dalam menghadapi kesulitan matematika, sementara kurangnya persepsi akan manfaat matematika dalam kehidupan nyata menghambat motivasi belajar mereka. Untuk meningkatkan minat siswa, disarankan strategi seperti penguatan pengalaman sukses bertahap, penggunaan tutor sebaya, penerapan pembelajaran berbasis proyek (PjBL), serta pemanfaatan teknologi dalam pembelajaran.
