Peer Review Process

The AHS Journal of Multidisciplinary Social Sciences applies a double-blind peer review system to ensure the academic quality and scientific integrity of every article published. In this system, the identities of authors and reviewers remain anonymous to each other throughout the review process.

The article review process in this journal is conducted through the following stages:

1. Manuscript Submission

Authors submit their manuscripts through the online journal system in accordance with the established Author Guidelines. The submitted manuscript must be an original work that has not been previously published and is not currently under review by another journal.

2. Initial Screening by the Editor

The editor conducts an initial evaluation of the manuscript to ensure that:

  • The article topic aligns with the focus and scope of the journal

  • The manuscript follows the journal’s writing guidelines

  • The article demonstrates adequate academic quality

  • The manuscript is free from plagiarism (checked using plagiarism detection software)

Manuscripts that do not meet these initial criteria may be rejected directly by the editor (desk rejection).

3. Review Process by Reviewers

Manuscripts that pass the initial screening will be sent to at least two reviewers who have expertise in the relevant field.

Reviewers will evaluate several aspects, including:

  • Originality of the research

  • Relevance to multidisciplinary social sciences

  • Clarity of the research methodology

  • Quality of analysis and discussion

  • Contribution to the development of knowledge

4. Editorial Decision

Based on the reviewers’ evaluations, the editor will make one of the following decisions:

  • Accepted (accepted without revision)

  • Minor Revision

  • Major Revision

  • Rejected

If revisions are required, authors must revise the manuscript according to the reviewers’ comments within the specified timeframe.

5. Author Revision

Authors must resubmit the revised manuscript along with an explanation of the changes made based on the reviewers’ feedback.

6. Final Decision

The editor will evaluate the revised manuscript and determine the final decision on whether the article can be published.

7. Production and Publication

Accepted articles will proceed to the following stages:

  • Copyediting

  • Layout editing

  • Proofreading

After these stages are completed, the article will be published online in the corresponding journal issue.
