This study aims to analyze the implementation, challenges, and impacts of hybrid learning that integrates local potential into Social Studies education at the secondary school level following recent changes in the learning system. The research was conducted in West Lombok Regency, involving teachers and students from selected secondary schools as participants. A qualitative approach with a case study design was employed, while data collection was carried out through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The results indicate that hybrid learning based on local potential can be effectively implemented by utilizing the natural, social, and cultural resources available in the surrounding environment. This approach has proven to increase student engagement, facilitate understanding of abstract concepts, and make learning content more relevant to real-life conditions. However, several challenges were identified, including limited technological facilities and the readiness of some teachers to manage both face-to-face and online learning activities. It is concluded that local potential-based hybrid learning serves as an effective and sustainable solution to improve the quality of Social Studies education following changes in the national education system.
