Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan model pembelajaran MURDER (mood, understand, recall, digest, expland, review) terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis mtematis siswa. Pada sub materi persamaan kuadrat. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah quasi experimen dengan design one shot case study. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah semua siswa kelas X IPA dan sampel penelitian ini kelas X IPA 3 sebanyak 34 siswa. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik probability sampling jenis simple random sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah tes uraian dan angket persepsi siswa. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji normalitas dengan liliefors, uji linearitas data dengan uji-F. Hasil uji Hipotesis di peroleh dari uji t dengan nilai thitung = 4,330 ttabel = 1,692 karena thitung > ttabel pada taraf signifikan 5%, maka disimpulkan bahwa Ho di tolak dan Ha diterima, artinya terdapat pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan penggunaan model pembelajaran MURDER (mood, understand, recall, digest, expland, review) terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa. Adapun nilai determinasi korelasi sebesar 0,612 termasuk kedalam kategori kuat. Pengaruh model pembelajaran MURDER (mood, understand, recall, digest, expland, review) terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa sebesar 37,5%, sedangkan sisanya dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain.
