Abstract

Creativity is a crucial aspect of early childhood development that can be fostered through drawing activities supported by the teacher's role in the learning process. This study aims to analyze the role of teachers in developing early childhood creativity through drawing activities at TK IT NW Sugian. The research employed a qualitative approach using a case study design. The participants consisted of one principal, three classroom teachers, and ten children from Group B, selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected through observations, in-depth interviews, and documentation, and analyzed using the interactive data analysis model. The findings indicate that teachers not only provide drawing materials but also encourage children to choose their own themes, select colors, and explain the meaning of their drawings as part of the reflective learning process. This guidance promotes the generation of diverse ideas, enhances children's confidence in expressing their thoughts, and supports the development of more detailed drawings based on their personal experiences. Although the learning process faces challenges such as limited resources and differences in children's abilities, the teachers' adaptive role contributes significantly to creating a learning environment that effectively fosters creativity in early childhood.
