Sinergi Pengasuhan Orang Tua dan Guru dalam Mendukung Perkembangan Anak Usia Dini: Studi Kasus di TK Al Muhtar Benteng

Abstract

This study analyzes the integration of parenting practices between parents and teachers in supporting early childhood development at TK Al Muhtar Benteng. A qualitative case study design was employed involving 20 parents and five teachers. Data were collected through observation, semi-structured interviews, and documentation, and analyzed descriptively using source and technique triangulation. The findings show positive changes in parental practices after children entered school, particularly in guidance, positive communication, and opportunities for independent learning. Collaboration between parents and teachers was reflected in parental involvement in home-based learning activities, including counting practice, independent reading, and memorizing the days of the week. Economic conditions, parenting experience, technology, and social media influenced parenting practices, but intensive teacher-parent communication helped mitigate these challenges. The study concludes that integrated parenting between home and school strengthens children’s cognitive, social, and emotional development and supports early character formation.
