Pendampingan membaca melalui program ruang baca ceria bagi siswa yang mengalami kesulitan membaca di sekola dasar

Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan pelaksanaan pendampingan membaca melalui Program Ruang Baca Ceria serta perkembangan kemampuan dan keterlibatan siswa yang mengalami kesulitan membaca di SDN 1 Bodak. Kegiatan dilaksanakan melalui program KKN-DIK selama dua bulan dengan melibatkan 35 siswa dari kelas rendah dan kelas tinggi. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah Participatory Action Research (PAR) melalui tahapan identifikasi masalah dan asesmen awal, perencanaan, tindakan pendampingan, observasi dan monitoring, asesmen akhir, serta refleksi dan tindak lanjut. Data diperoleh melalui asesmen, observasi, wawancara guru, dan dokumentasi, kemudian dianalisis secara deskriptif dan ditriangulasi. Hasil menunjukkan perkembangan pada seluruh indikator kemampuan membaca. Rata-rata skor meningkat dari 6,27 pada asesmen awal menjadi 8,17 pada asesmen akhir, atau bertambah 1,90 poin (30,30%). Peningkatan terbesar terdapat pada kelancaran membaca dan pemahaman bacaan, masing-masing 2,40 poin. Keterlibatan siswa juga berkembang positif pada aspek keberanian, keaktifan, ketekunan, ketertarikan terhadap buku, dan partisipasi. Program berpotensi menjadi bagian dari penguatan literasi sekolah apabila dilanjutkan melalui pemantauan dan pendampingan yang konsisten.
